Joel Lund

Joel Lund has been involved in youth ministry for many years, eight of which were full time in a church setting. He volunteers, along with his wife and daughter, at the Idaho Humane Society by walking shelter dogs and helping in other ways. He’s a rock climber, with a route near Monterey, California, that he named after being the first to climb it, and he’s completed the two-day Seattle to Portland (STP) Bicycle Classic (a 200-mile ride) several times. Most recently, he had a very successful career in the financial services industry as a leader with a national financial planning firm; his branch generated more than $23 million annually. Now, he is a full-time writer, blogger, speaker and business coach. He’s the award-winning author of The Ultimate Survival Guide for Youth Ministers and Watson’s Way; Life Lessons We Earned From Our Brilliant Dog. He is also writing a (best-selling, his teenage daughter is convinced) young adult fantasy series.
