Dunk-Tismal (R) Madness - 3/22/2018

RANDOM THOUGHTS:  I just had a break with my friend Mitch and Larry.  In our number of amazing conversation topics today, different kind of baptismal's came up.  Larry said his son, Brian's church used a big metal trough and in my mind I pictured the pastor lining people up to be baptized and saying, "Moooove along" and I may have moo'd out loud.  I'm not certain about that.

Frankenstory - 11/2/2017

frankincenseSHORT THOUGHTS:  So do you think that if Dr. Frankenstein had used a lot more of this Frankincense, that his son's life may have turned out totally differently than it did?

Without Him - 10/20/2017

SHORT THOUGHTS:  We are weak and fragile but our Savior is strong and mighty.  All our strength, all that we are, comes from Him.  Without Him, we are all lost.

2 Corinthians 4:7 (NIV) But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

Completely Dead - 10/18/2017

halloween_grassRANDOM THOUGHTS:  It is crazy how some people take care of their yards and others just let them go to poo.

My wife and I took a walk tonight and came across this yard with most of the front yard completely dead. Such a shame.

The Little Things - 10/17/2017

The Little ThingsSHORT THOUGHTS:  I really love corn on the cob, even if it is just a mini one from the Idaho Pizza salad bar.

Sometimes, things come in ways we don't expect or appear looking differently than we thought they would and can slip right by unnoticed if we are not careful.

My Cup Runneth Over - 9/25/2017

sippy_cupsRANDOM THOUGHTS:  Last night, Denice had a "wine" accident. Not a "whine" accident which is very different and much...much more...well, it's just different.

Last night when she took a drink and went to put it down, she set it on the edge of something and the glass tipped, sending wine all over the place.  Yes, it was not a really grape situation.  This immediately caused a mild, red wine on the couch and carpet, panic.

The Pretzel - 8/8/2017

RANDOM THOUGHTS: So, today I was tricked into doing some exercises.  Yes, my wife, Denice is a tricky one no doubt.

Last night before bed, she asked me if I would like to do some yogurt in the morning.  I was like, "Wow, I like yogurt...let's do some!"  I am always up for new things and so I was glad to introduce yogurt to our morning routine.  Then the morning came and there was no yogurt waiting for me, there was just this YouTube video on the TV screen.

NO SENSE - 7/26/2017

SHORT THOUGHTS:  There are so many things in this world that just don't make sense.  There are so many things that happen that there are just no good answers for.

One day, on the other side of eternity, it will not be like that.  All the pieces of the big puzzle will be in place and we will see the whole picture...the finished product and understand it all.  All tears will be wiped away, all pain healed, all wrongs will be made right and death will be no more.

NO FLY ZONE - 7/27/2017

RANDOM THOUGHTS:  I have had a couple of flies in the house the last couple days.  I have not killed them yet but I am getting closer.  Today, I retrieved the fly swatter from its hanging place on my garage wall and brought it in doors.

I try very hard not to kill anything if I can help it but so far, I have not been able to catch and release these fast guys.

Just Grow - 7/21/2017

Just-Grow1Just-Grow2SHORT THOUGHTS:  God often shows me things or teaches me in the simplest ways in life. Maybe it is because that is what I need or maybe it is because I notice. Either way, it's all good. Last night was another quick lesson.
