Some Kind of Clivity - 8/23/2018

RANDOM THOUGHTS: HOW MY MIND WORKS:  My daughter, Sheila, is very interested in the DNA sites and sent hers in recently to 23andMe for results.  Since then, she has been getting contacted by various cousins she did not know about.  She now has me interested in it now and wants me to get mine done too.  I guess, maybe I feel left out that I am not getting contacted by various cousins that I don't know.

Last night, I spent some time researching the site last and found out that it can give wellness reports and genetic traits besides where you DNA line is from.  I looked at sample reports and thought that was pretty cool.

This morning I was thinking about it further and for some reason, the word, "proclivity" came to mind.  I don't know why it came to mind but who know why anything comes to my mind?  This is what the word means.

Proclivity - a tendency to choose or do something regularly; an inclination or predisposition toward a particular thing.

As I thought on this word, I wondered if at a time in your life where your tendencies or not set yet or at least not as strong, if at that time, you actually only have an, "amature-clivity" or maybe even a "novice-clivity?"  Then when you finally have practiced enough and get set in your ways, bam, you finally have "proclivity."

And with that line of thinking, I forgot all about my DNA thoughts that I had been thinking about.  I guess I will have to get back to those later when I am done with my deep thoughts on this "proclivity" word.

Carry on,
David
