Songs From Haven - One Thing Remains

My wife, Denice, and I started a new video series called, "Songs from Haven." We will be recording some of our favorite songs and hopefully yours too while we are up in Cascade at Hummingbird Haven. The title of the first song is called, "One Thing Remains" which was written by Kristian Stanfill.

God's love for us is the one thing in this life that will never fail us. Check out this awesome message about the One that loves us the most and knows us the best.

The Naming of Quinoa - 9/11/2013

RANDOM THOUGHTS:  I was thinking about the name "Quinoa" today.  Not because I am having a baby and want a cool, unique name but because I had quinoa and chicken for lunch today.  I was thinking that it is a pretty cool sounding name with lots or personality and pizzazz  but wondered how it came to be call such a thing.

Rin Tin Tin - 1/25/2013

RANDOM THOUGHTS: Last night, my wife, Denice and I were finishing up reading a friend's book.

A Changing Tide - 1/21/2013

Sand Dollar PicturesJOURNAL:  As I walked along the sand on the beach in Pismo Beach, the sound of the ocean was soothing as the waves were coming in and going out to my right as I got closer to the pier.  I tried to take a walk every morning before going and starting my visits with my two daughters and four of my grandchildren that live in that area.  Like normal, as I walked along, my eyes were scanning the sand

Seeing in All Things - 1/21/2013

JOURNAL:  Today I am thankful for good health.  Normally, I have just that, "good health" and don't get sick very often.  When I do, it seems like it is something new and I get it once and then I don't seem to get it again and go back to my normal good health.

Where There's a Will, There's a Way - 2/10/2012

JOURNAL:  It started innocently enough with a text on my phone that read, “Can you please tell me why my husband has paint on his underwear?” And before I could respond, another text came in saying, “I am not amused” and then one more that read, “Well maybe a little, what a goofball.”
