SHORT THOUGHTS: It is not what we see on the outside that matters. It is who we are on the inside and what we are made of that contain our true character, integrity and quality…who we really are.
Looks may fade and wrinkles appear. Hair may recede and gray. Waist lines may expand and strength diminish. Vision may dim and hearing fade but who we are underneath it all…that soul under everything we hide behind…remains the same.

JOURNAL: I cannot let the fear of what might go wrong…keep me from the excitement and possibility of what might go right. I cannot let the walls that I have built, made out of fears, doubt and the unknown, hold me back from all that God has for me. I must move forward…always, no matter what. I must take a step, even if it is only one. I must refuse to stay the same. I must choose to grow.

SHORT THOUGHTS: Some new ways are better than my old ways. The way I have always done things may not always be the best way and I must to be ready and willing to change and grow if I find something that is truly better. I need to be willing to break out of a mold because often, it is God that is directing the mold breaking session.

JOURNAL: I am a one leg in, one leg out...kind of guy. (O.L.I.O.L.O. for you acronym lovers like myself) I am not really sure when it all started or if I just came out of the womb with this natural propensity. If so, I'm sure being wrapped like a burrito in the hospital nursery drove me plum crazy. I'm not really sure how plums got dragged into this whole "crazy" thing but I would bet there is a great story about that somewhere to be found and told. But we will have to save that for another day and time as we are talking about O.L.I.O.L.O.

JOURNAL: You can find out who the rule followers are and who the rule followers are not, just by going to the movies. It true…I wouldn’t try to lead you astray.
Yesterday, my wife, Denice, and I, spontaneously decided to go to the movies. We invited my daughter, Billi and son in-law, Casey, to go with us because they only live one minute and twenty seconds from us.

SHORT THOUGHTS: Questions to consider today. How is your life going? Where is your direction coming from? In what or whom do you really trust in? Is your Heavenly Father the first or the last one that you run to in good and bad times? Just thoughts on my mind this morning and something to think about today.
Here is some great advice from Proverbs.

SHORT THOUGHTS: Whew…what can you say about these pictures? Life sure has its ups and downs and even some sharp turns and the occasional drop off.

SHORT THOUGHTS: When hard times and trials come, hang in there. The one that comes to kill, steal and destroy would not be messing with you if you had not made great progress worthy of trying to mess up. And God would not ALLOW him to mess with you if you were not able to face it. Your Savior…the One in you…is greater than anything this world can throw at you. Don't give up...don't give in and don't give back any ground you have won back in your life. Learn where you are strong and where you are weak in this tough time. And through it all, never forget that your God,

JOURNAL: On the way to work this morning, I was listening to Adrian Rogers on the radio. He was speaking about the miracle in John 6 where Jesus fed the five thousand with only five small barley loaves of bread and two small fish. He talked about how Jesus asked Phillip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” And how He asked him this question only to test him as Jesus already knew what He was going to feed them all and that they would end up with a basket of leftovers for all the disciples when

JOURNAL: There is currently a lot of construction all along my commute to work. The exit I get off to go to work is being completely revamped…or would that be re-ramped. Anyway…lots of construction and lanes moving all over the place on any given day.
