SHORT THOUGHTS: I will never get tired of watching God paint His masterpieces. Last night after Denice and I got done moving gravel, we went out quickly to eat a way late dinner. This canvas had been painted on the way home and I had to pull my truck off the road to save this memory. Thanks for the beautiful gift Daddy.

SHORT THOUGHTS: Without Christ...there is no difference. It is only through God's grace and Jesus' righteousness that we have a way back to our Daddy. We are all in the same boat, no matter what we may or may not think.

Romans 3:23-24 (NIV) - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

SHORT THOUGHTS: Just because you can, does not mean you should. Actions have consequences and consequences can affect many people. Everything put before us is not beneficial for us or others close to us. Some, if chosen are down right destructive not only to ourselves but to those closest to us. Because of this power we hold, we must remember the ripple effect and choose wisely.

SHORT THOUGHTS: Happy Mother's day to all the mothers out there. Thanks for the wonderful gift you bring to this world. You have one of the most important jobs that there is. The world is literally in your hands as you raise each generation.
Mother's day is bitter sweet for me now. I lost my mom back in 2010 and then my mother inlaw the 2011. So now when I think of my mom's, all I have is the memories. But memories are a gift too.

SHORT THOUGHTS: Everyone in the world been given a priceless gift. Jesus loved and loves us so much, that He willing left His place in heaven, came to earth and gave His life in our place to restore our broken relationship and give us all a way back to His Father. He died in our place to make this bridge because there was no way we could do it on our own.

SHORT THOUGHTS: We all wear masks in this life. Ever since the first sin in the Garden of Eden, we have been looking for something to hide behind. Ever since the first fig leaf outfit, when God yelled out, "Adam, where are you?"...we have been hiding and often running from God.

SHORT THOUGHTS: This is a monumental day for Christians. It is the day that Jesus, the Son of God and our Savior took and paid the full penalty for all of our past, present and future sins. It is the day He bore the sin of the whole world. On this day, Jesus paid the price for you and me...He bridged the gap created by sin between us and our Father. He made a way for everyone to come to the Father...not by their own works and deeds...but by His works, deeds and ultimate sacrifice.

SHORT THOUGHTS: As we go into this week leading up to this most important event to our Christian faith, I think it is a great time to reflect. When we consider all that Jesus did, does and is doing for us this very moment, think about these thoughts.

SHORT THOUGHTS: Life is full of ups and downs. I think that most of us have experienced the pain and agony of a hard crash and burn in life. If you haven't, don't worry, there is still time. I would not want you to feel left out or feel like I have been hogging all of the crash and burns for myself.

SHORT THOUGHTS: Reshaping and change are not my strong point. However…God doesn’t care about that. He still works on reshaping and changing what He wants in my life anyway and then just has to listen to more whining from me than from people who like to reshaping and change. Are there really such people? Ha.
